Art In The Park 2011
Liz Zahara Fine Art booth is #137 right in front of the bandstand.
The 46th annual Art in the Park show will return to its roots at Coronation Park – the original site from 1966 until 1996. Coronation Park lies to the east of Bronte still on Lakeshore Rd. less than a 5 min. drive. This larger park has more parking and is the site of many annual music concerts and theatre productions. It is a family oriented park with play areas for children and other features. The beer garden will have a lovely shaded spot and in general the area south of the band shell is open with shade all around and a direct breeze from the lake.
Founded in 1965, the Oakville Art Society is an independent self-supporting organization of artists. The Society initially created Art in the Park to promote local artists and artisans, and today this one day, annual event has blossomed into Oakville’s premiere art event.
One of the longest running outdoor art shows in Ontario, Art in the Park features more than 150 artists working in various mediums: painting, pottery, mixed media, jewellery, photography, wood, metal, and so much more. Rain or shine this event goes ahead and attracts both artists and visitors throughout the southern Ontario and Quebec regions. Be delighted by a wide range of artists work, enjoy the music and stroll through beautiful Coronation Park by the lake.If you are interested in original art by Canadian artists and artisans then this event is for you.
